After we discuss your needs, location and date preference, we meet on location for our session.  

A full session lasts about 45 minutes. 

 I often hear parents fearing it would be "too long" for their children but, from experience, this is the perfect length. If it is too rushed they don't have time to relax and be their relaxed self. Most of my favorite shots happen towards the end of a session when I have more of a rapport with them. 

After the session is when the "behind the scenes" works starts on my end as I spend much longer editing than shooting.

Within a week I send you a proofing gallery with a light edit, you then make your final selection. 

I then spend 20-30 minutes hand editing each final photo to give it my whimsical finish.

These are my favorite sessions, let's pick a theme and let your child dream! 

For these sessions, I provide gorgeous fantasy gown for children as part of the styled shoot. 

These shots can include realistic fairy wings, or transform your child into a prince/princess, or a farm girl/boy or maybe a mechanic for a day. It's all possible and the sweetest keepsake you'll cherish for ever.After we discuss your visions, we pick a location and date preference, we meet on location for our session.

 I typically book these between 32-34 week of pregnancy, starting 30 weeks if it is not your first pregnancy.

My studio newborn sessions are done within two weeks of your baby's life, ideally before baby turns 10 days old.I schedule them a couple of days around your due date and take place in my home studio in Decatur.

I keep my color palette fairly neutral and if you have a particular color or style in mind, let me know. 

Sessions are about 2.5 to 3 hours long to allow enough time for baby to settle and eat if needed.

Again, I spend a lot more time post process, editing your photos (especially the composites) which takes me over 30 minutes per hand edited photo. 

My Lifestyle newborn sessions are done within two weeks of your baby's life, ideally before baby turns 10 days old. I schedule them a couple of days around your due date.

 Lifestyle sessions document baby first moments at home around his family.

I come to your home with a few neutral colored swaddles and blanket. I usually shoot the family in the living room, bedroom and nursery or even outside if weather allows and take some "baby alone" photos as well. 

Sessions are about 1.5 to 2 hours long to allow enough time for baby to settle and eat if needed.

Our first contact would be a simple consultation to help me to understand what type of portraits we need to create together: 

- What industry are you in: I would shoot a different backdrop for a lawyer versus an artist or a real estate agent. I would suggest different clothing accordingly as well.

- What is it for: LinkedIn, own website, dating site...)

- Are there any shooting restrictions: square, portrait, landscape shots?

Sessions are typically between 20 minutes to 45 minutes depending on your need.
